BOISE, Idaho – Allie Hueckman has signed a National Letter of Intent to play women's basketball at Boise State, Bronco head coach Gordy Presnell announced, Friday.
Hueckman is a three-sport athlete at Burns High School in Burns, Ore. The 5-foot-10 shooting guard also played volleyball and was a high jumper on the track and field squad.
"We are excited about Allie joining our program," Presnell said. "She has had an outstanding high school career in a number of sports. She is athletic and can really shoot the ball. She will make a great Bronco."
She is a two-time state champion in the high jump and garnered all-state honors in both volleyball and basketball during her career.
Twice, Hueckman has earned the Burns High School Most Outstanding Female Athlete of the Year and has received Eastern Oregon League Player of the Year accolades in both volleyball and basketball.
She has been a part of six district championship teams, including each of the last two seasons on the hardwood. Burns finished third in the state basketball tournament during 2019-20. This season, the Hilanders captured a state title in volleyball.
Hueckman's senior season in hoops begins next month. She currently owns career averages of 15.2 points and 6.5 rebounds.
