Lacrosse
Saturday saw another dominant effort from Arizona State lacrosse (2-0). Led by goaltender Berkeley Bonneau’s stout effort in net, the Sun Devils cruised to a 22-6 win over Fresno State (1-3).
Bonneau saved more shots (five) than she allowed goals (three) against the Bulldogs. Only two scores got past her in the first half and she didn’t surrender a goal until her offense had already built up a 10-point lead.
That attack once again was a team effort. Emily Glagolev, Maria Villanti, Katie Brodsky and Kaylon Buckner all scored three goals apiece. An additional eight Sun Devils also scored that included Kerri Clayton getting her first two of the season.
